My Bio
My name is Allie Koelbl and I took AP Studio Art as a senior in high school. I am also an accomplished flautist and I am able to apply the joys I encounter with music to my creations. Just like music, art is able to spirit one away from the problems of reality. While drawing, all I focus on is what is right in front of me. It does not matter what is happening in my life in the past or in the future; the only important aspect is the present. The main reason why I love creating art stems from the places that art can take you. I find myself drifting away from reality into my own world. All of my problems are swept away, and all I can think about is the image and the feelings captivating me when I view it. Drawing and painting are a part of my life. Ever since I was little I loved drawing, and that love has continued throughout my 20 years of life! I cannot imagine a world without art <3

Hello everyone!
I have missed you all so much! This summer has been super busy since I got my job at The Animal Motel, a place where we take care of pets while their families are on vacation!! So many puppies, so little time!! But I digress...
Anyway, since I have been so busy my drawing has suffered because of it! I don't have nearly as much time as I would like to draw or take care of the numerous commissions that I have sitting around!! (I'm sorry for all of you who have wanted commissions done since last summer, please don't be mad, and I'm not sure whether or not I will get the chance to finish them!!)

It is that time of the year where I must relinquish my desire to be on DA 24/7 and get to work on homework during my second semester of college...yay? Anyway, I think that I will be taking a HIATUS until I can find more time to work on my artwork, an action that I am not happy to do but must be done unfortunately...
Just so that all of my commissions and requests know, I will be working on your art during my free periods and will update you on my status, I just can't tell you exactly when I will finish them, I am eter

Hello everyone!!
I just wanted to wish everyone a very happy new year for 2011!! This year has been SUPER busy O.o, but a very exciting one as well. Although I don't have as much time to work on art as I would like, I really enjoy my breaks from college because then I can actually work on artwork of mine as well as commissions by others!!
As for commissions, I have a few in line that I will hopefully be able to work on throughout my winter break as well as when my homework load is lessened (as if that would ever happen, hehe:giggle: For anyone who would like a commission from me, just send me a message and let me know what you would like dr
